Mubasher: Chalhoub Greenhouse, Chalhoub Group’s space for innovation and entrepreneurship, has collaborated with Instagram, to empower startups in Saudi Arabia by providing the upcoming fashion businesses with training, guidance, and support to accelerate growth.
The partnership aims to provide resources and skills to Saudi fashion startups over a five-month period. The initiative is part of the Fashion Lab programme that was launched by Chalhoub Greenhouse, according to a press release on Thursday.
Under this collaboration, Instagram will be providing the startups with several workshops to enable them to leverage the full capabilities of its platform. The Saudi fashion businesses will be offered best practices on media marketing, marketing tech, creative and content creation, in addition to working with content creators, media reporting and performance measurement.
Fashion Lab is focused on early-stage ventures and brands, offering up to $15,000 in funding for each enterprise to develop retail propositions across various fashion segments.
Chief Innovation Officer at Chalhoub Group, Dina Sidani, said: “Saudi Arabia has a fast-evolving fashion ecosystem driven by its young population and its amazing pool of talented designers.”
