Cairo – Mubasher: The main index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday higher by 1.63% at 11,395.6 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI also added 1.27% to 2,127.84 points.
The EGX100 EWI gained 1.38% to 3,105.14 points. Similarly, the EGX50 EWI rose by 1.34% to close at 2,001.47 points.
The EGX’s trading value amounted to EGP 1.93 billion after 757.24 million shares were exchanged, compared to EGP 954.68 million and 408.03 million shares last session.
The market cap value surged to EGP 722.04 billion from EGP 715.16 billion on Monday.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 22.93 million, while the Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 17.68 million and EGP 5.25 million, respectively.
