Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s session higher by 0.21% at 11,420 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.68% to 2,163.66 points.

The EGX100 EWI rose by 1.40% to 3,148.67 points. Similarly, the EGX50 EWI added 1.39% to close at 2,029.33 points.

The turnover stood at EGP 1.16 billion through the trading of 392.95 million shares, compared to EGP 1.93 billion and 757.24 million shares a day ago.

The market cap value reached EGP 724.58 billion, higher than EGP 722.04 billion on Tuesday.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 12.68 million and EGP 18.03 million, respectively, while the foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 30.71 million.
