Mubasher: The board of Orascom Construction Plc has approved an interim dividend distribution of $0.2313 per share.

The record date for the dividend distribution is set on 23 January 2022, and the payment date is 31 January 2022, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

This dividend payout came after distributing the first dividend payment of $0.2313 per share to shareholders in August 2021, raising the total dividends announced in 2021 to $0.4626 per share.

It is noteworthy to mention that in the first nine months of 2021, Orascom Construction reported a 17.1% increase in consolidated net profits attributable to the owners to $76.1 million from $65 million in the year-ago period.
