UAE - Mubasher: The UAE banks' assets increased by 0.9% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 3.27 trillion in October 2021, according to the latest data by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).

The banking deposits amounted to AED 1.96 trillion in October 2021, up 3% when compared to the same month of 2020.

Meanwhile, the total credit decreased by 2.4% to AED 1.76 trillion by the end of October 2021, when compared to the year-ago period.

The monetary base rose by 1.3% to AED 455.1 billion in October 2021 from AED 449.1  billion in September 2021.
