Cairo - Mubasher: Profits of Nile Co. for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (Nile Pharma) in the first five months (5M) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022 decreased marginally by 2.6% on an annual basis, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

The Egyptian listed company noted that its net profits, including tax, were valued at EGP 44.1 million during July-November period of current FY, compared to EGP 45.3 million in 5M-20/21.

In the first quarter (Q1) of FY21/22, Nile Pharma recorded EGP 18.71 million profits compared to EGP 22.29 million during Q1 FY20/21.

The company's revenues fell during Q1-FY 21/22 to EGP 207.3 million, compared to EGP 218.42 million in the same period last FY.
