Mubasher: The UAE will host the first edition of the annual Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS) on 23-25 May 2022 in Abu Dhabi.

Organised by Nirvana Holding, the summit will gather many companies in the electric vehicle and related business fields to highlight the recent developments, emerging technologies, and sustainable solutions, according to a recent press release.

The event is in line with the UAE’s 'Economic Vision 2030' and the 'UAE Energy Strategy 2050', which support the adoption of more energy-efficient technologies and responsible governance.

The Group CEO of Nirvana Holding, Alaa Al Ali, said: "We have been seeing a rapidly growing interest in electric vehicles in the region and we are proud to bring an event of this scale to Abu Dhabi."

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Events and Conferences of Nirvana Travel and Tourism, Naser Ali Albahri, commented: "This event is a convergence of all the developments and innovation happening in the e-mobility world, whether it be land, sea, or air."
