DFM, ADX decline on Tuesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s session lower by 21.76 points (0.67%) at 3,207.81 points.

The trading value reached AED 406.23 million through the exchange of 338.41 million shares, compared to AED 496.98 million and 409.49 million shares in the previous session.

GFH led the fallers with 4.58%, yet generating the highest turnover of AED 89.66 million.

Al Firdous Holding topped the risers with 14.81%.

Deyaar Development was the most active stock with 70.68 million traded shares.

As for Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the benchmark index went down by 0.051% to 8,332.69 points.

The trading value totalled AED 1.55 billion after 268.24 million shares were exchanged, compared to AED 1.51 billion and 226.32 million shares on Monday. The market cap value declined to AED 1.57 trillion from AED 1.59 trillion.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels led the fallers with 6.67%, while Sharjah Insurance was the top riser with 13.64%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest turnover of AED 393.78 million, while Dana Gas recorded the highest trading volume of 87.03 million shares.
