UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.05% to settle at 3,177.88 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

A total of 139.08 million shares were traded through 4,188 transactions valued at AED 292.469 million.

Emirates Refreshments led the rising stocks with 14.94%, while Arabian Scandinavian Insurance (Ascana) came on top of the losing stocks with 8.94%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.221% to close Tuesday's trading session at 8,431.81 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.409 billion after 210.121 million shares had been exchanged through 6,316 transactions.

Sharjah Insurance Company topped the green zone with 6.92%, while National Takaful Company (Watania) headed the red zone with 9.8%.
