Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) went up by 0.15% to close Tuesday's trading session at 11,876.44 points.

The EGX50 EWI inched up by 0.90% to 2,078.19 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 1.05% to end Tuesday's session at 2,218.72 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI increased by 1.01% to 3,259.48 points.

A total of 169.54 million shares were traded through 28,668 transactions valued at EGP 6.78 billion.

The market cap value amounted to EGP 762.75 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 541.07 million and EGP 31.66 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 572.7 million.
