UAE stock markets close Thursday's session on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 1.13% to close Thursday's session at 3,398.41 points.

A total of 128.96 million shares were traded through 8,255 transactions valued at AED 415.32 million.

Emirates NBD topped the rising stocks with 0.75%, while Dar Al Takaful headed the losing stocks with 6.36%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down 0.59% to settle at 9,815.87 points by the end of Thursday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.61 billion after 225.61 million shares had been exchanged through 13,521 transactions.

Fujairah Cement Industries Co (FCI) led the green zone with 13.04%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co (TKFL) came on top of the red zone with 9.09%.
