UAE - Mubasher: The UAE's hotel establishments recorded a 20% rise in revenues to AED 11 billion during the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to the same period in 2019.

The occupancy rate of hotel establishments in the UAE grew by 80% in Q1-22, when compared to the corresponding period of 2019, marking one of the highest globally, according to a press release on Thursday.

These figures reflect that the performance of the UAE's tourism sector in the first three months (3M) of 2022 exceeds the pre-pandemic growth levels amid the return of inward tourism flows from foreign markets.

India, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Russia, and the US topped the list of international tourists.
