Riyadh – Mubasher: The shareholders of the National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) have agreed to distribute a cash dividend of SAR 0.50 per share for the first half (H1) of 2022.

Zoujaj will pay out a total amount of SAR 16.45 million, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

The shareholders granted their approval for the cash dividends during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) that was held on Wednesday, 18 May.

It is worth noting that the board proposed the cash dividends that represent 5% of the company's capital for 32.90 million eligible shares last March.

Last year, the company generated  SAR 51.10 million in net profit after Zakat and tax, against net losses of SAR 11 million in 2020.
