Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: AD Ports Group has reached a strategic partnership agreement with Germany-based Alexander Global Logistics GmbH to establish a pulp and paper products hub.

Under the agreement, the two companies will launch a transshipment hub, which will operate from Khalifa Port, to handle pulp and paper products and meet the changing needs of the global supply chain, according to a press release on Monday.

A total of 20,000 square metres of quayside warehousing will be established in Khalifa Port during the project's first stage, expected to be completed by the third quarter (Q3) of 2022.
