Riyadh – Mubasher: The shareholders of  Eastern Province Cement Company have granted their green light for a cash dividends’ distribution of SAR 2.50 per share for both the first half (H1) of 2021 as well as H2-21.

The Saudi firm will pay a total amount of SAR 215 million for 2021, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

The shareholders’ decision came during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) that was held on Sunday, 22 May.

It is worth noting that the company’s board proposed dividends worth SAR 120.40 million and SAR 94.60 million for H1-21 and H2-21, respectively, for 172 million eligible shares combined.

In 2021, Eastern Province Cement achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 201 million, an annual plunge of 7.37% from SAR 217 million.
