UAE stock markets close Monday down

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday’s session lower by 51.76 points (1.58%) at 3,210.32 points.

The trading value reached AED 320.69 million through the exchange of 118.95 million shares.

National Cement Company led the fallers with 10%. Meanwhile, Emirates Refreshments and Amanat Holdings were the only risers with 7.75% and 1.07%, respectively.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 101.30 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 21.20 million shares were exchanged.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 1.036% to 9,293.26 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.31 billion after 192.06 million shares were traded. The market cap reached AED 1.96 trillion.

The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) led the fallers with 9.93%, while Al Ain Ahlia Insurance Company topped the risers with 11.83%.

International Holding Group (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 313.03 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 49.91 million shares were exchanged.
