Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has penned an exclusive agreement with Visa to develop digital payments in the UAE.

Through the partnership, Visa will provide ADIB's clients with customer-centric solutions and banking services, according to a press release on Thursday. 

ADIB will also be able to link all of its covered and debit cards to Visa network. Meanwhile, Visa secured exclusivity over the lender's entire card portfolio.

Mohamed Abdelbary, CFO of ADIB Group, said: “Deepening our partnership with Visa will speed the delivery of solutions for our individual and business banking customers.”

In the first three months (3M) of 2022, ADIB reported net profits attributable to the equity holders of AED 714.95 million, an annual jump of 18% from AED 607.39 million.
