Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell by 0.82% to end Tuesday’s session at 9,179.63 points.

The EGX50 EWI also declined by 1.15% to 1,637.69 points.

Similarly, both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed the session down by 1.53% to 1,709.92 points and 1.46% to 2,529.22 points, respectively.

EGX’s trading value totalled EGP 883.68 million after 327.37 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value reached EGP 620.04 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 181.54 million, while the Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 74.26 million and EGP 107.28 million, respectively.
