Mubasher: The region’s real estate exhibition Cityscape will be launched in Bahrain for the first time in November 2022, taking place at the new Exhibition World Bahrain.

The three-day event will cover the entire real estate ecosystem such as residential, hospitality, and commercial aspects, in addition to proptech and financing initiatives to boost market growth, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Debuting Cityscape in Bahrain followed an agreement that was signed by Informa Markets, Cityscape organisers, and Bahrain’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority at the Cityscape Global Exhibition in November 2021.

Local and regional businesses are expected to present their projects, developments, and services during the event, besides having the opportunity to network with influential players in the regional market.

A two-day proptech summit will be held alongside Cityscape Bahrain to feature an overview of the GCC proptech sector, government initiatives, and the startup scene.

It is worth noting that the value of real estate transactions in Bahrain increased by 46% in 2021 on an annual basis. The government’s Economic Recovery Plan meanwhile targets over $30 billion worth of investments in sectors including infrastructure, industrial, housing, tourism, and healthcare.
