Mubasher: Saudi Aramco's CEO, Amin Nasser, has led Forbes Middle East's second annual "Top CEOs in the Middle East" ranking, which focuses on 100 executives that managed revenues of over $1 trillion in 2021.

Saudi Aramco's CEO was followed by ADNOC's Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber and Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum of Emirates Group, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Including 19 Emiratis, 16 Egyptians, and 15 Saudis, the 2022 list has selected 100 CEOs in the Middle East whose companies are currently collectively worth more than $5 trillion.

Forbes Middle East's ranking is based on the size of the CEO's company, their accomplishments and innovations over the past year, and their impact on their companies and the wider industry.

The cohort represents leaders from 26 nationalities, with UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia accounting for 50% of the ranking.

Banking and financial services were the most dominated sector in the ranking with 27 CEOs.
