Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session higher by 1.09% at 8,764.25 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.47% to close Thursday’s session at 1,693.76 points.

The EGX100 EWI rose by 1.22% to 2,484.55 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.67% to close at 1,585.74 points.

The turnover amounted to EGP 681.52 million after 395.57 million shares had been traded through 28,294 transactions.

The market cap value reached EGP 597.68 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 36.93 million and EGP 2.17 million, respectively, while the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 39.10 million.
