UAE's stock markets close Thursday's session down

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session down at 3,320.67 points after losing 18.13 points (0.54%).

The trading value amounted to AED 286.92 million after 115.99 million shares were exchanged.

Emirates NBD led the losers with 2.15%, whereas Air Arabia topped the gainers with 2.20%.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 49.86 million shares exchanged at AED 126.36 million.

In the meantime, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.315% to close the session at 9,821.14 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.35 billion through the exchange of 250.38 million shares. The market cap reached AED 2.05 trillion.

Palms Sports was the top faller with 5.56%, whereas Al Seer Marine advanced the risers with 4.46%.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 323.88 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 136.14 million shares were exchanged.
