Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in the red zone, with the EGX30 main index down 0.78% to 9,968.88 points.

The EGX50 EWI also went down by 0.50% to 1,813.69 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed lower by 0.64% to 1,998.15 points and by 0.69% to 2,917.63 points, respectively.

EGX’s turnover reached EGP 1.44 billion after 593.54 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value amounted to EGP 665.39 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 328.17 million and EGP 20.68 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 348.86 million.
