Riyadh – Mubasher: International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) achieved net profits after Zakat and tax of SAR 541.72 million in the first half (H1) of 2022, higher by 21.22% than SAR 446.88 million in H1-21.

Revenues declined by 1.98% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.44 billion during the January-June 2022 period, compared to SAR 2.49 billion, according to the interim financial results on Thursday.

The earnings per share (EPS) went up to SAR 0.74 in H1-22, versus SAR 0.69 in H1-21.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the company’s net profit after Zakat and tax surged by 26.64% to SAR 389.86 million from SAR 307.84 million in Q2-21.

The revenues went up by 3.35% YoY to SAR 1.29 billion in Q2-22, compared to SAR 1.25 billion.

In the first three months (3M) of 2022, ACWA Power registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 151.85 million, an annual jump of 9.21% from SAR 139.03 million.
