Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session on a varied note, with the EGX30 main index down by 0.04% to 9,984.44 points.

The EGX50 EWI, meanwhile, rose by 0.85% to close the session at 1,843.98 points.

Similarly, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices went up by 3.43% to 2,129.13 points and by 2.45% to 3,056.56 points, respectively.

EGX’s trading value reached EGP 1.44 billion after 1.30 billion shares were exchanged. The market cap value amounted to EGP 673.58 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 108.29 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 96.29 million and EGP 12 million, respectively.
