UAE stock markets close Tuesday on mixed note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Tuesday’s trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 17.27 points (0.50%) to close the session at 3,414.59 points.

The trading value reached AED 325.83 million through the exchange of 126.60 million shares.

Dubai Insurance Company was the top faller with 9.87%.

Amlak Finance, which advanced the rising companies with 5.49%, was the most active stock on which 27.07 million shares were exchanged.

Meanwhile, Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 130.87 million.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.196 % to close at 10,215.59 points.

A total of 279.70 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.59 billion. The market cap amounted to AED 2.12 trillion.

ADC Acquisition Corporation led the gainers with 5.34%, while Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) headed the decliners with 6.22%.

Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 84.18 million shares were traded, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 458.44 million.
