Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note, with the EGX30 main index down by 0.72% to 9,843.17 points.

The EGX50 EWI also declined by 0.07% to close the session at 1,834.11 points.

On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices went up by 0.92% to 2,149.99 points and by 0.53% to 3,064.97 points, respectively.

EGX’s trading value amounted to EGP 1.42 billion after 900.03 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value reached EGP 669.53 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 135.42 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 100.94 million and EGP 34.48 million, respectively.
