UAE - Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 43.16 points (1.26%) to close Wednesday’s trading session at 3,457.75 points.

A total of 256.31 million shares were traded at a value of AED 455.53 million.

Emirates Islamic Bank led the gainers with 7.09%, while National International Holding Company headed the decliners with 1.14%.

Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 193.12 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 73.64 million shares were exchanged.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.735% to close at 10,290.67 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.23 billion through the exchange of 182.72 million shares. The market cap stood at AED 2.13 trillion.

Hayah Insurance Company advanced the risers with 14.97%, while Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) was the top faller with 4.72%.

Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 42.08 million shares were traded, while International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 318.08 million.
