Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The board of Dana Gas has approved interim cash dividends worth AED 315 million, representing 4.50% of the capital, for the first half (H1) of 2022.

The company would disburse 4.50 fils per share on 21 October, according to recent bourse disclosure.

Meanwhile, the last entitlement and ex-dividend dates will be on 29 and 30 September, respectively.

Hamid Jafar, Chairman of Dana Gas, said: “High energy prices have contributed to our strong cash flow. When combined with continued steady production and effective cost control, we are able to continue to reward our shareholders with another interim dividend payment.”

During the first six months (6M) of 2022, the UAE-based firm posted an 82% year-on-year (YoY) hike in net profit after tax to AED 407 million from adjusted net profits of AED 225 million, which excluded reversal of impairment.
