Mubasher: Nutanix, a leading computing firm, has appointed Mohammad Abulhouf as the Senior Director and General Manager for emerging markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Abulhouf will be based in Saudi Arabia, where he will focus on reinforcing Nutanix’s regional client base and achieving further growth, according to a recent press release.

With more than 16-year experience in the information technology (IT) field, Abulhouf held various sales leadership positions in companies like Oracle, EMC, HP, and Sun Microsystems.

The new official joined Nutanix in 2018 as a Sales Director for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, where he helped bolster the tech firm’s key position in the cloud space. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Jordan.

Sammy Zoghlami, Senior Vice President of Nutanix in EMEA, commented: “His [Abulhouf] track record is significant in terms of business development as well as people development.
