Qatar Electricity and Water Company Q.P.S.C (QEWC) would like to disclose that it has signed a share sale and purchase agreement with Qatar Energy, according to which QEWC sold its entire share in Siraj Energy Co (an Associated company), which amounts to 49% of the shares, thus making Qatar Energy owning 100% of Siraj Energy Company.

The completion of the transaction under the Share Sale and Purchase Agreement is primarily subject to compliance with the requirements of the financing agreements of Siraj-1, a joint venture company of Siraj Energy.
