Banque Saudi Fransi’s profits rise to SAR 2.67bn in 9M-22 interim results

Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits of Banque Saudi Fransi amounted to SAR 2.67 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2022, higher by 8.75% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 2.45 billion.

The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 2.08 in 9M-22, compared to SAR 1.92 in the year-ago period, according to the initial income statements.

Furthermore, the clients’ deposits reached SAR 157.82 billion during the January-September 2022 period, an annual jump of 10.12% from SAR 143.32 billion.

The assets rose by 8.59% YoY to SAR 231.65 billion in 9M-22 from SAR 213.33 billion, whereas the investments edged down by 0.56% YoY to SAR 43.34 billion from SAR 43.58 billion.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, the Saudi lender logged net profits worth SAR 961 million, up 5.95% from SAR 907 million in Q3-21.

On a quarterly basis, the Q3-22 net profits enlarged by 14.81% from SAR 837 million in Q2-22.     

In the first half (H1) of 2022, Banque Saudi Fransi posted a 10.52% YoY growth in net profit to SAR 1.70 billion, compared to SAR 1.55 billion.

Last August, the bank disbursed cash dividends worth SAR 900.64 million, equivalent to SAR 0.75 per share, for H1-22.
