UAE stock markets close Monday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone at 3,378.91 points after gaining 28.44 points (0.84%)

The turnover stood at AED 436.54 million through the exchange of 187.04 million shares.

Ekttitab Holding was the top gainer with 6.34%, whereas Al Firdous Holding led the losers with 9.63%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 28.43 million shares exchanged at AED 174.91 million.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 1.148% at 10,574.93 points.

A total of 400.79 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.59 billion, while the market cap reached AED 2.56 trillion.

Bank of Sharjah headed the fallers with 7.41, while National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) advanced the risers with 15%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 262.18 million, whereas Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 78.01 million shares.
