Riyadh – Mubasher: Jarir Marketing Company (Jarir Bookstores) decided to disburse cash dividends worth SAR 270 million for the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The Saudi firm will distribute SAR 2.25 per share, representing 22.50% of the share nominal value, for 120 million eligible shares.

Meanwhile, the eligibility and distribution dates for the Q3-22 dividends will be on 14 and 23 November, respectively.

During the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Jarir logged net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 702.20 million, down 3.73% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 729.40 million.

Revenues amounted to SAR 6.81 billion in 9M-22, an annual rise of 0.65% from SAR 6.77 billion.

In the July-September 2022 period, the company’s net profits after Zakat and tax edged up by 0.44% YoY to SAR 273.70 million from SAR 272.50 million.
