CBE offers EGP 27.5bn T-bills on Sunday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 27.50 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 20 November.

With a maturity period of 91 days until 21 February 2023, the first offering was valued at EGP 7.50 billion, according to official data.

The second auction stood at EGP 20 billion, holding a tenor of 273 days until 22 August next year.

On 17 November, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 25.50 billion through two issues.
