Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s production index for transformative and extractive industries, excluding crude oil and petroleum products, recorded 115.58 during September 2022, according to data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

This is against 117.71 a month earlier, representing a 1.81% drop.

The index of motor vehicles hit 200.04 in September 2022, compared to 205.98 in August 2022, the report added.

Moreover, the electrical appliance industry index decreased by 6.69% monthly to 126.26 in September 2022, compared to 135.31, due to the import ban.

In the meantime, the computer, electronic and optical products, and medical devices index registered 111.14 in September 2022, up 4.79% from 106.06 in the previous month.
