Cairo – Mubasher: The customs authority of Port Said collected EGP 3.21 billion in taxes, customs duties, and other charges in November 2022.

The total value of taxes and customs duties collected for imported goods at the port hit EGP 561.26 million last month, Ahram Gate reported.

In addition, the value-added tax (VAT) and other charges imposed on imported goods amounted to EGP 2.64 billion. The imported goods include wheat, legumes, and maize.

In the meantime, the port exported goods that include food products, juices, fruits, and raw materials at a total value of EGP 3.29 billion. Charges collected for the exported goods reached EGP 2.43 million.
