Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 7.50 billion through one tranche on Monday, 26 December.
The auction will mature in three years on 6 December 2025, according to official data.
Additionally, the CBE issued zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 6 billion through one offering, holding a tenor of 1.5 years until 18 June 2024.
Last week, the central bank offered T-bonds at a combined value of EGP 7.25 billion through two auctions and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 5.50 billion through one tranche.
