Cairo - Mubasher: intella, the first real-time intelligence provider in the MENA region, teamed up with Huawei to advance its Arabic speech-to-text technology, according to a press release.

The partnership aims to create new commercial opportunities and develop new use cases for intella’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology.

It further seeks to boost the integration between intella Voice and Huawei OpenLab, allowing Huawei to deploy intella’s core technology in order to create AI products using its own interface.

Being the most precise multi-dialect Arabic voice transcriber, intella Voice helps unlock conversational intelligence by enabling Arabic speakers to accurately get their voices captured.

The new AI-based platform has a 95.70% average accuracy across 25 Arabic dialects and can be used in chatbots, voice assistants, customer service centers, emergency hotlines, and interactive voice response (IVR) systems.

Meanwhile, the collaboration will enable both parties to leverage commercial opportunities and enter new potential markets, integrating intella’s AI-powered innovations with Huawei’s private and public cloud capabilities.

Nour Taher, Co-Founder and CEO of intella, said: “As a real-time intelligence provider, we look forward to making use of Huawei’s advanced AI capabilities and ready infrastructure to continue developing our AI-based solutions.”

Omar Mansour, Co-Founder and CTO of intella, noted: “It is an incredibly exciting step for us at intella, and our partnership with a pioneering [information and communications technology] (ICT) company such as Huawei, is definitely a testament to our efforts that focuses on innovative solutions, to spearhead Arabic conversational AI.”

Founded in 2021, Cairo-based intella has secured $1 million in seed financing early this year.
