Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced the execution of the optional purchase offer submitted by Vodacom Group Limited on Vodafone Egypt Telecommunications' shares.

Vodacom bought 49,493 issued shares of Vodafone Egypt at a total value of EUR 925,866, according to an official statement on Tuesday.

Vodacom's offer includes the purchase of up to 124,608 shares, representing 0.05% of Vodafone Egypt’s issued share capital.
