Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in the red zone, with the EGX30 main index down 3.41% to 16,446.38 points.

The EGX50 EWI also declined by 2.85% to 2,829.21 points.

Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 2.95% at 2,883.30 points and 4,337.77 points, respectively.

Egypt’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.96 billion through the exchange of 483.37 million shares, whereas the market cap value hit EGP 1.05 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 75.74 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 71.88 million and EGP 3.85 million, respectively.
