UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session at 3,347.92 points after gaining 44.65 points (1.35%).

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 236.11 million through the exchange of 83.77 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 58.66 million, in addition to dominating the trading volume with 10.39 million shares.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance advanced the gainers with 12%, whereas National General Insurance Company (NGI) headed the losers with 9.81%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.38% at 9,773.10 points. 

A total of 229.77 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.64 billion, while the market cap value reached AED 2.52 trillion.

Insurance House was the top decliner with 10%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAPCO) led the risers with 14.84%.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 475.24 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 37.97 million shares were traded.
