DFM, ADX end Thursday’s trading session down

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session lower by 3.52 points (0.10%) at 3,306.81 points.

DFM’s turnover hit AED 254.44 million through the exchange of 120.22 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 55.32 million, whereas Dubai Financial Market Company (DFM) dominated the trading volume with 20.64 million shares.

Dar Al Takaful was the top riser with 10.95%, while BHM Capital Financial Services headed the decliners with 9.39%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went down by 0.875% and ended the trading session in the red zone at 9,441.88 points.

A total of 239.81 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.39 billion, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.64 trillion.

Hayah Insurance Company advanced the gainers with 6.64%, while Oman & Emirates Investment Holding Company (OEIHC) led the fallers with 9.81%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 358.83 million, whereas ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 27.41 million exchanged shares.
