UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 5.12 points (0.15%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 3,344.12 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 228.87 million through the exchange of 125.84 million shares.

Ajman Bank, which led the risers with 6.14%, dominated the trading volume with 37.13 million shares.

Meanwhile, Dar Al Takaful was the top decliner with 9.72%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 44.22 million.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the trading session lower by 1.086% at 9,545.34 points.

A total of 159.85 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.08 billion, while the market cap value hit AED 2.68 trillion.

Hayah Insurance Company advanced the gainers with 8.96%, while Ghitha Holding headed the fallers with 9.95%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 304.20 million, whereas ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 17.88 million shares.
