DFM, ADX end Thursday’s trading session up

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 24.89 points (0.73%) on Thursday and closed the trading session at 3,425.56 points.

A total of 107.53 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 223.40 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 55.31 million, while Ajman Bank dominated the trading volume with 15.77 million shares.

Amlak Finance topped the risers with 4.19%, whereas Union Coop headed the decliners with 8.48%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also ended the session higher by 0.241% at 9,478.64 points.

ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.27 billion through the exchange of 227.28 million shares. The market cap value stood at AED 2.72 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 282.40 million, whereas Q Holding was the most active stock with 29.64 million shares.

Apex Investment advanced the gainers with 4.83%, while Hayah Insurance Company led the losers with 7.41%.
