Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in the green zone after the EGX30 main index surged by 1.88% to 17,534.59 points.

The EGX50 EWI also rose by 1.84% to 3,208.95 points.

Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 0.77% at 3,263.91 points and by 1.13% at 4,899.03 points, respectively.

A total of 1.09 billion shares were exchanged at a value of EGP 3.20 billion, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.13 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 177.42 million and EGP 40.17 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 217.60 million.
