UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 9.33 points (0.26%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 3,576.63 points.

DFM's turnover hit AED 964.45 million through the exchange of 264.41 million shares.

Orascom Construction topped the risers with 10%, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) headed the fallers with 4.90%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 74.19 million shares exchanged at AED 453.95 million.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session lower by 0.819% at 9,406.57 points.

A total of 656.71 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 3.22 billion, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.68 trillion.

Besides recording the highest turnover of AED 649.68 million, Americana Restaurants International dominated the trading volume with 158.75 million shares.

Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company (SCIDC) led the gainers with 11.86%, whereas Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) advanced the losers with 9.66%.
