CBE auctions floating-rate bonds in EGP, T-bills in USD on Monday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued floating-rate treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 1 billion through one tranche on Monday, 5 June.

The offering will mature in three years on 6 June 2026, according to official data.

Additionally, the central bank auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) in USD at a value of $540 million, holding a 364-day maturity period that ends on 4 June 2024.

Last Monday, the CBE offered T-bonds valued at EGP 3 billion through one issue.
