UAE stock markets close Wednesday in green

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday's trading session higher at 3,687.63 points after gaining 9.65 points (0.26%).

The turnover stood at AED 576.73 million through the exchange of 269.51 million shares.

Ithmaar Holding, which topped the risers with 14.93%, was the most active stock with 40.91 million traded shares.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) headed the decliners with 8.33%.

Meanwhile, Taaleem Holdings recorded the highest turnover with AED 126.71 million.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went up by 0.219% to 9,377.43 points.

A total of 184.19 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 971.62 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.67 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 221.71 million, while ADNOC Gas dominated the trading volume with 17.35 million shares.

United Arab Bank (UAB) led the gainers with 9.01%, whereas ADC Acquisition Corporation (ADC) advanced the losers with 6.86%.
