Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed note after the EGX30 main index declined by 0.82% to 17,347.57 points.

The EGX50 EWI also went down by 1.33% to 3,192.74 points.

On the other hand, small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session higher by 2.80% at 3,648.26  points and by 1.84% at 5,317.64 points, respectively.

A total of 1.54 billion shares were exchanged at a value of EGP 3.64 billion, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.12 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 260.72 million and EGP 54.22 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 314.94 million.
